Darkstar Productions is the brainchild of Kevin Leicher who has been working in the SA music industry for 15 years as a multi instrumentalist (Guitar, drums, bass and keyboards/piano), writer, engineer and producer. Darkstar Productions is situated in Newtown, the heart of Johannesburg’s cultural hub. Facilities on offer are full recording studios, preproduction and rehearsal rooms. If not lecturing or consultant Kevin also offers his talents as composer for jingles and has worked on several scores (both pre and post production). Mxo, UJU, Josie Field, Chris Chameleon, Blk Jks, Nedbank, Revlon and LiquiFruit are just a few of the many who have utilised the services of Kevin Leicher and Darkstar Productions.
