Tim Hendricks is a talented singer, songwriter and guitarist and has been performing since age sixteen. He decided to pursue an original music career in 2004 and took part in ‘Project Fame’ where he was one of the 26 finalists. After this he moved to Johannesburg and then to London where he gigged on a regular basis. In 2006 Tim entered a song into the International Songwriting Competition and made it through to the second round of judging over 15 000 other entries. Based on this achievement Tim was invited to perform at the Red Gorilla Music Festival in Austin, Texas, USA.
In 2008 he began building his home studio with the purpose of recording his debut album completing production in early 2010. He distributed this ‘demo’ album to labels and media in New York and Los Angeles and was invited to perform shows in India and Dubai.In 2010 Tim filled in as session guitarist with Gently Scar’d (Sheer Sound), started a side project ‘The Epic Illusion’, recorded and produced some tracks for rock band D Day Forever also working with members 340ml and new artist Bongi among others.
He returned to LA in late 2010 to begin promoting his new album, ‘Shadow of Your Imagination’ scheduled for release in South Africa and internationally in 2011.
