Today sees the release of Nothing’s Gonna Change, the new full-length album from Johannesburg based alternative rock mob Oooth. Written during lockdown by Jason Oosthuizen (vocals/guitar), the album delivers all the rock n roll swagger and punk snarl we have come to expect from the band.
“We are currently in such weird times, so it’s really cool for me to be able to release a new album. The songs themes are pretty much in line with the first album covering everything I feel and think, but I personally do feel there is a lot of growth from the first album till now. During the hard lockdown and even now, with musicians not being able to perform, I must say I am grateful to have had the time to write and finish this album as well as focus on all my other avenues. Every cloud certainly has a silver lining, some just more visible than others, I guess.” Explains Jason.
